Craving banana bread but can't have it because of food sensitivities? Give this recipe a try! Not only are our mixes naturally free from the top food allergens, they are packed with protein and fiber.
For this batch
- 1 pkg Classic Flatbread mix
- 2 medium ripe bananas - mashed + water to total 1 C liquid
- 1/2 C chocolate chips
- 1/4 C walnuts (optional)
Prep
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix all ingredients together and let rest for 10 minutes

For a softer flatbread, pour mixture into parchment paper-lined pie tin. For crisper flatbread, pour mixture onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Spread as thick or thin as you like. It does not need to cover the entire cookie sheet.

With a knife, score into about 8 pieces
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown

When baked, flip onto cooling rack to allow the bottom to crisp up.
