Easy Granola

Why buy store bought when you can make your own with a handful of ingredients you probably already have on hand! 

 

 

 

For this Batch

  • 1 bag of our Classic Flatbread
  • 2 cups of large flake oats
  • 1 C of chopped nuts (your choice - go wild) 
  • 2 tsp cinnamon (optional) 
  • 1/2 C raisins
  • 1/2 C oil (we used avocado)
  • 1/2 C tahini
  • 1/2 C maple syrup

Prep

Preheat the oven to 350F

Prepare a large sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat

Combine the dry Flatbread mix, oats, nuts and cinnamon in a bowl.  In a small pot, add the oil, tahini and maple syrup - heat and mix thoroughly.   Pour the wet mixture over the dry and mix and stir to coat well.  Transfer mix to the sheet pan and press evenly into a thin-ish layer.  Place in oven for 20 minutes - then turn the baking sheet front to back and put back in for another 10 - 20 minutes.  Watch closely as you don't want it to burn!  The edges will start to look dry which is good!  Remove from oven and let cool completely. When cooled it will crumble into pieces as you transfer to an airtight container.
